Client's Needs
Maybe a hometheater is just too expensive to put in every room in the house? This is a question Jeff pondered before contacting Karbon. Upon our intial consultation, it became quite clear that Jeff had taken bids from our competitors and he found them to be very expensive and elusive with their estimates. Jeff simply wanted to have his living room, news room, and pool room equipped with separate systems and the installation of each performed in phases. Karbon said "No problem Jeff!"
Design
Karbon delivers! From the decor of his living room, it was easy to design his system. All black. From the speakers, to the plasma, and all the equipment. This would perfectly accent his room. We installed a 50" Panasonic Onynx Plasma coupled with 5 Piano black NHT speakers and a 12" Velodyne subwoofer to complete his 5.1 system. We used a Denon 2806 receiver, Denon Upscaling DVD player, and protected all the equipment with a Monster Power Filter and Surge Protector. After we finished the design aspect, we also added simplicity with a 1-button Harmony 880 Remote control for all his equipment. That was easy! Now onto the next room.
Jeff's news room is where he relaxes and catches up on the news. It has a slight tropical theme to it and minimal space to spare. Again, Karbon delivers! We mounted a 32" Samsung LCD (to ensure no burn in from the news "ticker"), a Denon 2.1 system for robust sound, and finished it off with a Monster Power Filter and Surge Protector. Did we mention that we conserved maximum space by placing all the equipment in his closet with a custom made rack and added ease of use with a 1-button RF Harmony 890 remote control? He was exstatic! One more room to go.
The pool room is located just off the living room and adjacent to the kitchen. It has a high-end "Sports Bar" feel to it and is great for enteraining guests. Jeff wanted something simple to show the game while he and guests play pool and something to utilize while he does some cooking. No problem Jeff! We simply mounted a 26" Samsung LCD on an articulating arm which allowed him to swing the Television to the Pool room for Guests, or into the Kitchen while he cooks. We also made a custom made rack above his refrigerator to house a Samsung Upscaling DVD player, and the Comcast Hi-Definition Box. Too easy Jeff! And coming soon, Karbon will be installing a Home Theater system in his bedroom.
