Client's Needs
Are you not quite sure of the right size for your Television or Sound System? Patrick and Phyllis felt this and contacted Karbon for help! In our intial consultation, Patrick and Phyllis expressed the desire for a large television and surround sound system to fill their living room. They also wanted some high-end audio towers for their parlor and they needed all of these products easily relocated when they decided to build a new home next year.
Design
Hello Karbon! We felt that since the esthetics of their living room is very bright, that it would meld perfectly with black and white. Patrick and Phyllis desired the Televison to be located between a wall and a window. This area had an incredible amount of light. We decided on the Mitsubishi WD-52628 1080P DLP televsion because it is the latest in technology, can grow as the broadcast signal grows, and it has a black casing design to absorb the light in the corner, not to mention add contrast to the image. We accented the Television with 3 Monster THX Monitor 200 series speakers for the front speakers, also in black to match. In the rear of the room, we wall mounted 1 pair of white Bose cubes to match perfectly with the walls. We finished off the sound system with a Velodyne Mini-Vee subwoofer hidden behind the Televison and incorporated a Samsung Upscaling DVD player, all protected by a Monster Power Conditioner and controlled by the 1-Button Harmony 880 Remote control.
In the parlor we added 2 Monster THX 200 Towers in cherry to his current cherry armoire. Patrick was exstatic! The beauty of his entire setup, is it's ability to grow when they decide to upgrade their system and build their next home. The black monitors in their living room can also be paired with the Monster THX submodules in the future. The towers in cherry can be utilized as the rear channel speakers. Once the velodyne is added to the mix, they have a 5.3 surround sound system in their next home!
